Where on Earth did life begin? Explore the hydrothermal vents in Earth’s crust as simple compounds gave way to complex life.

Billions of years ago, simple organic compounds assembled into more complex coalitions that could grow and reproduce. At the time, Earth had widespread volcanic activity and a hostile atmosphere that made it almost devoid of a suitable environment for living things. So where did life begin? Luka Wright searches for the cradle of life that gave rise to the billions of species that inhabit our planet.

  1. Its amazing how the mainstream secular atheists believe that we know for sure that life originated from a "chemical broth". Reality is that we can't even put together a simple cell organism even if we are given the parts, which doesn't really help in understanding OOL. Dr James Tour gives a good reality check on where we are in this. Atheistic, evolutionary, mindset will not achieve progress in this area.

  2. +Phosphates. Phosphorus in its elemental form isnt water soluble. But evo people dont care. Many other elements arent water soluble, but amino acids formed anyway, and they didnt keep reacting like they are supposed to. Just hung around in their pure form in water. Its hard to keep them intact in todays labs in isolated containers. Evo is a story, a good story, but just a story.

  3. I find it strange that we are all cannibals in one way or another, whether carnivore or omnivore. Also the fact that all life is one massive mutation/variation of a single organic compound. I wonder what made this organic compound come to exist.

  4. Hey I have a question for you idiots .
There are trillion of trillion planets in universe but why only fully functional life with accurate atmosphere created only on earth .?
If universe was created by big bang and there was only singularity before big bang than what was before singularity .
And before that or even before that ?

Here is my answer to all your questions .

  5. Warning to Christians, don't believe this video . Life is too complicated to have started this way investigate to see that this statement I am making is true. You will find my statement to be true.

  6. Get this. The movie supposing to show how life could arise naturally starts with a quote from a movie! A movie quote!
How funny. No evidence, just hype.
"Billions of years ago, simple organic compounds assembled into more complex coalitions that could grow and reproduce."
Pure nonsense! Not a scrap of evidence to back up their opening statement. And why would we think that something could happen billions of years ago that can't happen today? Even in a lab? With the best and brightest scientists on Earth?

  7. There is no rational, testable or observable evidence that life arose from non-life.
I notice the way they claim that the Earth was very different in the past. But that is a ploy to make you think that if the conditions were different then life could arise from non-life.
    The

Claiming that "billions of years ago" somehow life arose from non-life is a belief, not science.
But no scientist to date has ever produce life in a lab, no matter what the conditions.
Life is so complex that it cannot arise naturally no matter what the conditions or how much time you have. And it certainly couldn't arise on Earth, the water planet.
Water is the universal solvent. Water destroys any molecules necessary for life. It dissolves molecular bonds.
A water planet would be the last place for life to form.

  8. Highly specified information ALWAYS comes first because a functional protein cannot form without it. That means the first DNA molecule could not form without the requisite information necessary for it's assembly. Than it has to be coded. No DNA.. no further protein production. Thermal vents indeed.
